Labourer (intention to sign up for apprenticeship) 1st or 2nd year Residential Apprentice Sheet Metal Worker

The Labourer (with intention to sign up for an apprenticeship) or the 1^st or 2^nd year Residential Apprentice Sheet Metal Worker shall gain knowledge and skills, working under the direction of a Journeyman. They shall be responsible for performing general duties as requested, which include, but are not limited to:

*Perform a variety of sheet metal fabrication or installation processes to fill the needs, specification and quality requirements of the customer.

*Communicate with customers and co-workers in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.

*Ensure the information for completing your duties with respect to each project has been explained fully to you, if unsure ask.

*Follow Job Procedures and Safe Work Practices to assist in completing the tasks asked of you in a safe manner.

*Ensure a complete record of your “Time” and the “Materials” you have used.

*Attend safety meetings, perform required safety inspections and participate in the safety program.

*Comply with rules and regulations as set by LSM and Alberta Occupational Health & Safety.

Wage $19.00 to $25.74
