Building Type: Industrial
Service: HVAC Upgrade, Ductwork, Air Conditioning & Heating, Control Wiring
When LP Canada expanded its mill in Dawson Creek, we were hired as the primary contractor for all HVAC work. Our expert staff completed all the necessary upgrades outside of the steel fabrication. This included work for the HVAC unit, engineered structural steel stands, and control wiring to meeting the building code (BC) and LP mill standards.
This large-scale industrial project required our experienced team to perform the necessary HVAC upgrades. As we updated the system, we considered the mill’s building structure. Our team recommended new unit structural supports as necessary and used their engineering expertise to ensure the right building foundation was in place for the upgrades.
Based in BACNET, the control system installation for the HVAC equipment was installed to communicate to the plant programmable logic controller (PLC). We completed the control wiring to meet the mill industrial standard and building code.
All equipment stands also meet the industrial standards and were engineered and fabricated by our staff. Upon completion powder-coated handrails, ladders, and galvanized floor grating were added to the equipment stands. The base structure was painted LP blue to provide a clean branded look to the mill.
We installed air conditioning for the motor control center (MCC) and air compressor equipment room. Ventilation and heating are provided to the warehouse from roof fans and stand-mounted make-up air units.
Completed by our experienced workers, this entire project finished on time and within budget.
